Welcome back to 2022

 We started the year with a splash - literally! 

To "celebrate us" as a school we enjoyed some fun in the pool to kick off the school year.




We helped our junior buddies in the water and made the most of the beautiful Summer weather.

 Each day in Maths we have a different Math starter that we explore.  Our focus this term is on Mental Computation so we are exploring all the different ways to use and manipulate numbers. Today we had a maths starter about a frog that was trapped in a hole and had to get out.  Josephine, Robert and Luca each shared their strategy and thinking to explain how they got their frogs out of the hole.

MOTEC :)

 Each Thursday Marama travel to Motueka to take part in MOTEC sessions.   The children get to explore Food Technology, Technology with wood, Computer Technology and Sewing - soft materials technology.
